The firm has participated in the completion and success of over 2,500 projects throughout the country encompassing over 600,000 residential units and have received numerous awards within the Home Building industry and many reviews by a variety of notable publications over the years and has spoken at many industry conferences. Sanford received his Bachelors of Environmental Design as a graduate of the University of Colorado and completed a Masters of Architecture at the University of California in Los Angeles where he also received the Dean’s Award. He is a member of the AIA and is a NAHB Certified Green Professional. Michelle Betchner is the Senior Vice President of Performance for Alliance Residential Company and is currently responsible for overseeing various departments such as Marketing, Training, Investor Relations and New Business Development. Claire Collins serves as Vice President of Marketing and Education for Princeton Properties of Lowell, MA. A 20 year veteran of the company, she has contributed to its growth from 800 units in three Massachusetts markets to over 5000 units in four states by directing the lease-ups of repositioned assets and participating in the development of new communities from floor plan design to interior specifications. Her involvement in the multifamily industry includes serving on NAA’s Education Committee and on NAHB Multifamily’s RAM Board of Governors. Claire began her career in the apartment industry as member of CLASS, Inc’s elite group of Leasing Specialists, based in Atlanta, GA. She holds BA in Psychology from Emory University. An enthusiastic Brainstorming participant, Claire has attended the Brainstorming Sessions every year since 1995 and has been a Facilitator since 1999.
Jamie Gorski is Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing for The Bozzuto Group where she provides strategic marketing direction for the entire company, overseeing all advertising, marketing and public relations efforts for each of Bozzuto’s six integrated companies – Acquisitions, Construction, Development, Homebuilding, Land Development and Property Management. Jamie brings more than 25 years of multifamily marketing experience to Bozzuto, including five years as chief marketing officer for Kettler. Prior to Kettler, she served as vice president of marketing for Archstone-Smith and for Charles E. Smith Residential. Jamie’s expertise includes strategic planning, brand development, standards implementation, Internet marketing and statistical market analysis. She has extensive experience overseeing major initiatives such as redeveloping corporate web sites and re-imaging campaigns and is an expert in advancing advertising and collateral and in improving corporate and site-specific visual identities. Jamie has won numerous marketing awards, including 30 Pillars of the Industry Awards from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). She received a B.S. in mathematics from Ohio State University, where she was captain of the swim team, a Big Ten Champion and an NCAA National finalist. Jamie and her family reside in Annapolis, Maryland.
Gregory Ann Goldrick, NALP has over 15 years experience as a marketing director for several well known multi-family organizations such as Archon, Walden, and Simpson Property Group. Currently she directs strategic marketing and branding (corporate and property based), collateral, signage design, web design, market research, and provides strategic marketing plans which produce increased occupancy and NOI for Simpson Property Group, LP. Her current portfolio responsibility includes communities from Texas to California with a wide range of product types from garden, conventional, mid-rise, high-rise, mixed-use, loft, new construction and affordable housing.

Karen Kossow serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Kettler Management Inc in McLean, Virginia. She is responsible for the strategic planning, development and implementation of sales, marketing and branding programs as well as lease-up and 3rd party management transition oversight. Ms. Kossow has extensive experience in the areas of leasing, marketing and troubleshooting. She has also worked with numerous product lines ranging from affordable to upscale. Ms. Kossow oversees a portfolio of over 16,000 apartments in over 55 locations throughout the Washington metropolitan area and New Jersey. There are an additional 3000 apartments in the pipeline. Prior to joining Kettler, Ms. Kossow was employed at Charles E. Smith Residential. She began her tenure at Charles E. Smith Residential as a Leasing Manager and was subsequently promoted to Pacesetter.Prior to joining Kettler, Ms. Kossow was employed at Charles E. Smith Residential. She began as a Leasing Manager and was subsequently promoted to Pacesetter, Marketing Manager, and ultimately appointed Director of Marketing. Prior to Charles E. Smith Residential, Ms. Kossow served as Activities Director at Dreyfuss Brothers Management. A graduate of William and Mary, Kossow received a Bachelor of Arts degree in French with a psychology minor. Ms. Kossow recently served on the AOBA-DC Metro AACE Award Committee. She hosted local radio show “Apartment Chat,” and since 2002 has served as a facilitator and speaker for the Multifamily Pro Brainstorming Conference. In July of 2006, she was named one of the industry’s “Rising Stars” by Multi-Family Executive Magazine, and in July of 2007 was profiled as one of five people named “The New Order” by Multi-Family Executive Magazine. Brad Marting is the President of OptiYield, a consulting practice focused on maximizing net operating income and the value of multifamily real estate investments. Mr. Marting is a 32-year veteran in multifamily, condominium, office, industrial, and retail investments. He has an extensive background in finance, operations, acquisitions, dispositions and asset management. He has acquired, managed, and sold more than three-billion dollars of real estate investment property. He has a MBA, is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and holds three professional real estate designations: the CPM, CCIM, and CAPS. He is well experienced in revenue management and was the founder and inventor of YieldStar®, a software-based yield management system for the multifamily industry (now owned by RealPage, Inc.). Mr. Marting also won second place for the “Article of the Year” award from the Journal of Property Management for an article on yield management.

Jared Miller is considered one of the country’s leading experts on web-based multifamily marketing and interactive solutions. Mr. Miller, Vice President of Marketing at Bainbridge Companies, brings a wealth of experience in the areas of marketing, branding, communications and training on a broad range of property types and classes. Kendall Pretzer is the President of the Strategic Solution, a Texas based company formed in 2000. The Strategic Solution is a multi-faceted, business operations support company that supplies web based policy manuals and other consulting services.
