BRAINSTORMING 2012 EXHIBITOR AND PARTNERSHIP PROSPECTUS
The information below is provided in order to share our plans and vision for the 2012 Brainstorming event and our partnership with you; and to invite you to join us now in bringing it to life!
We recognize that the success of Brainstorming depends on successful relationships between Multifamilypro and all the amazing companies that join us in bringing the event to life. With that in mind, we’ve eliminated the word “Sponsorship” from our vocabulary this year in order to better recognize our “Partners” in the success of this uniquely collaborative event.
The Venue
Brainstorming 2012 is scheduled to be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on November 6-9, 2012. We’ve selected both November and Rio largely because that month and venue together have historically yielded great attendance results. With a group room rate of only $119 per night, our 2012 event will be even more affordable for attendees than recent events; and Rio’s large number of guest rooms allows us to plan for the increased attendance we expect.
The New Brainstorming Exhibit EXPERIENCE
One of the other very important considerations that led us back to Rio is that we’ve been offered a huge amount of physical space (nearly 90,000 sq. ft.) in which to host the event, which is critical to our plans for the new 2012 Brainstorming Exhibit Experience. While other aspects of the event have evolved greatly over the past many years, we feel that it is time now to focus on the reinvention of the Brainstorming Resource Room, and we’re taking a bold approach that we feel will tremendously enhance the experience for both attendees and exhibitors, alike. Next year’s trade show floor—renamed The Interactive Marketplace—will offer “Experience Stations” in which companies will be expected to create an opportunity for our attendees to interact with that exhibitor’s products and services in a much more meaningful and hands-on way. To allow enough physical space for each exhibitor to create an experience that is meaningfully interactive, we’ve increased exhibit size to a minimum of 10’x10’ without increasing your cost. We are raising the bar for industry trade shows, and browsing the exhibits at Brainstorming will no longer be a passive activity, but a solidly social, experiential, and educational one.
With this commitment, however, you must agree to include some kind of an interactive experience relative to your product/service within your exhibit area. Tami will contact you to discuss your plans including any assistance we can offer in making your experience as meaningful as possible to our attendees; and if, after that conversation, you become unable or unwilling to provide the interactive experience as part of your exhibit, your booth space will be returned to general availability and your deposit refunded with absolutely no penalty. We believe that every exhibitor can design an interactive experience for our attendees, and you have our full commitment to help you achieve that goal.
Make Brainstorming Your “Users’ Conference” on Friday
We highly encourage every Partner in next year’s event to take full advantage of this unique platform to create or host your own 2012 Users’ Conference for Brainstormers to attend. We have secured additional meeting space on Friday November 9th to make available to our Partners on a first-come-first-served basis in 2- and 4-hour timeslots from 8:00 am – 12:15 pm on Friday. We can help you orchestrate this event by including your users’ meeting/conference in our event promotion and agenda including printed materials for the Brainstorming event. We will also work with your planners to arrange your room setup, as well as order any audio-visual equipment needed (at our special group rate). Because many of our industry’s top educators will be attending Brainstorming, we can also work with you to secure an amazing keynote presenter for your event at a great rate. Additionally, we’ve secured complimentary internet access for the entire Brainstorming period, and are happy to pass this benefit on to you for your own event. Please contact Tami for complete details and to secure your meeting room space as soon as possible.
More to Come!
In addition, a series of tremendously exciting, additional FREE upgrades to next year’s event will be announced in March of 2012 that we can hardly wait to share, including opportunities to spend more meaningful time with attendees and instruct them in the use of your products/services!
We are more than confident that next year’s exhibit experience will redefine your idea of trade show success, and we encourage you to make your commitment to join us in this groundbreaking event!
Trendstorming
Our concentrated focus on the Exhibit Experience has not deterred our focus to further improve the Brainstorming process, itself. Our focus on integrating consumer and industry trends into the process will continue. This new combination that we’ve named Trendstorming has been successfully tested at our most recent events and is being officially adopted. While the time-proven elements of our previous methodology will remain intact, a strong emphasis will continue to be placed on beginning the process with intensive trends-based education so that the process yields solutions that are not just “great ideas” but rather strategies that capitalize as fully as possible on a current or emerging opportunity that can yield even more positively impactful results. To support this goal, we plan to both refine the skill sets of our Facilitators to improve the working-end of our process as well as better prepare the audience by continuing our campaign of awareness industry-wide that trends are not merely “passing fads” but rather opportunities to exponentially multiply the effectiveness of our decisions by improving their timeliness, momentum, efficiency, and impact.
Education
Next year’s Active Educational Sessions will cover the timeliest topics, designed to both increase knowledge and equip the audience with new skills across five tracks: Marketing, Training, Management/Operations, Technology/New Media, and On-Site. The Faculty will include not only the best-of-the-best professional property management executives within our industry, but also a variety of non-industry subject-matter experts who can breathe a fresh and objective perspective into the knowledge- and skills-base of our audience. We’re hearing from our audience loudly and clearly that they want more New Media; so we intend to use the connections we’ve fostered through the New Media Optimization Summits to build an outstanding Technology track that will satisfy that need. Marketing, Training, Management/Operations, and On-Site topics will be carefully chosen for their innovation, forward-thinking, and ability to equip our Brainstormers not only for the state of the industry today, but to create a dramatically more successful future. It is our intent for next year’s Active Educational Agenda to be the not-to-be-missed opportunity of the year; and the formulation of that agenda is already underway. Each speaker will be required to prepare and present in our new Active Educational format, which will be announced in March.
Your Role in the Event
In keeping with our goal to redefine the exhibit experience for our industry and your idea of trade show success, you have our full commitment to produce the absolute most successful Brainstorming event, ever, for both your company and our attendees. We will strive to not merely meet but exceed your expectations, and to bring you an audience that is fully in keeping with your invaluable investment in the event!
In exchange for our commitment to design and deliver the best possible marketing opportunity and environment in which to showcase your products and services and increase your investment, we need your cooperation and assistance in: sharing information about Brainstorming 2012 with your client base before the event in a way that’s targeted to encourage attendance; designing the best experience for attendees who visit your exhibit at the event so that they can participate in a learning process; and following up appropriately with attendees once the event is over by providing supporting information that will continue their learning experience and keep it fresh in their minds. Together, we will make Brainstorming 2012 the standard by which all future multifamily events are measured.
If you were a 2011 Partner, you have the benefit of first right of refusal to continue your 2011 Partnerships for the 2012 event AND double your exhibit space ONLY if your agreement is secured by December 31, 2011; so please act now! Sign and return the agreement as soon as possible; and stay tuned for more exciting announcements to come! Thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you soon! There are several new partnership opportunities available next that we cannot announce until March. If at that time you wish to add to or change your partnerships, Partners who are already on board will be given first right to do so.
- Tami & Team Multifamilypro
P.S. As soon as your agreement has been received, Tami will be personally contacting you to discuss ideas for making your 2012 Multifamily Interactive Marketplace EXPERIENCE as memorable and effective as it can be!
