Beau Peelle, Ph.D. is Co-Founder & President of Clean Energy Experts, a firm dedicated to improving the adoption of cost-effective energy saving products and technologies through education and awareness. The company’s mission stems from Beau’s beliefs that the environment and human health are precious resources, and going green can provide financial benefits for residents and property owners alike. Beau runs the company along with Omer Atesmen, Co-Founder & President, and Reginald Norris, EVP & General Counsel from their headquarters in Los Angeles, California.
Clean Energy Experts develops and operates a portfolio of educational websites and online tools, including MyEnergySolution.com, the premier free website to help homeowners lower their utility bills, and HomeRebates.org, a complete source for the latest rebates, incentives and financing options for renewable and energy efficiency solutions. The company also provides custom market research, business advisory services, and partners with the nation’s leading certified installers of solar systems, wind turbines, and professional energy auditors.
Prior to founding Clean Energy Experts, Beau was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) advising private equity firms, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and government entities on business strategy, investments, and operational efficiency. Cornerstone projects in energy included leading BCG’s internal Greening initiatives, reshaping the Port of Los Angeles operations to eliminate 18,000 dirty diesel trucks, and preparing California utility companies to support adoption of plug-in electric vehicles. Prior to BCG, Beau helped build the core platform technology for a successful biotech start-up Rigel Pharmaceuticals, ran an independent technology venture consulting team, and worked at the Stanford University Medical School. He has 10 US patents filed or pending and has published in leading scientific and business journals. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering & Advanced Materials from MIT and a B.S. in Biology & Economics from Stanford University.
