Traditional training tends to take a one-size-fits-all approach; but the most effective new training plans take into account the talents and skills that a team member already possesses in order to capitalize on strengths and avoid reinventing the wheel. Skill Gap Analysis is the tool whereby we measure the difference between existing skills and those that are needed, and create individualized strategies for placing each team member on a track to highest possible performance in the current position while continuing on a path of professional growth and continued success. This session will equip you with the skills you need to perform Skill Gap Analysis, including: setting the bar and measuring the gap; formulating an individual training action plan; measures of effectiveness; how to integrate individualized training into the traditional one-to-many training model; and more!
